Exposed by Aussie Farms in May 2014, Henholme is a large battery hen (caged egg) facility near Newcastle NSW. Approximately half of the sheds are the older style with a manure pit underneath the cage floor, and the other half are the newer style with conveyor belts underneath each tier for the collection and removal of hen manure. Footage and photographs were obtained within the newer sheds, in which the cages reach 8 tiers high.

The majority of birds were found with major feather loss and clear signs of malnutrition.
