An overwhelming majority of dogs who raced at the Macau Canidrome, with extremely poor animal welfare standards and no capacity for rehoming, were sourced from Australia.

Thankfully, this issue should be of less concern following the Canidrome’s closure, and additional restrictions on the Greyhounds Australasia Passport scheme.
