Tell PrimeSafe - Stop the cruelty at Wangaratta slaughterhouse

Workers using the bodies of sheep and pigs as punching bags, hitting them as they hang suspended on the shackle line, or as they are pulled onto the kill table to have their throat slit.
Pigs screaming as their heads are clamped in electrified paddles, some left stunned but conscious for minutes as they blink and look around in terror.
Sheep and goats stabbed in the head over and over again as they thrash and try desperately to run backwards on the moving conveyor belt, forcing them towards their deaths.
Cows trying to stand after being shot in the head multiple times, then dying in agony as they bleed out on the kill room floor.

We need to shut down slaughterhouses and end all animal slaughter, not just to protect sentient animals, but to create a society which is in line with our values of compassion and justice, not violence and oppression.

Dear Michael Coffey (PrimeSafe CEO),
I am writing in regards to the release of new footage released from Gathercole's Wangaratta slaughterhouse which shows ineffective stunning of cows, pigs, goats and sheep, as well as workers boxing the bodies of sheep and pigs as they hang suspended on a shackle line.  
Like many people, I have been shocked by the footage which was captured by animal advocacy group Farm Transparency Project and which shows cows, sheep, pigs and goats desperately trying to escape as they are repeatedly shot in the head or electrocuted. 
Cows are forced into the narrow box two at a time, trampling on each other in panic as they are shot. More often than not, cows would not be stunned on the first attempt, and would be shot up to four times as they thrashed and tried to escape. 
Sheep and goats are immobilised with a small, handheld electric stunner which operates by forcing a pair of electrified metal prongs deep into the animal’s head. For pigs, electricity flows through a large pair of metal paddles, which are clamped forcefully around their head. Many animals were not stunned immediately, and were electrocuted multiple times as they tried to escape, some even managing to jump out onto the killing table and make a desperate leap for freedom. 
The footage shows workers hitting and punching stunned animals and even using the bodies of sheep and pigs as punching bags as they hung suspended on the shackle line, slowly bleeding out. Some pigs were seen moving and gasping for air seconds before they were tipped into a tank of scalding water, while workers watched on, occasionally dancing and laughing with their friends. 
This is the 13th slaughterhouse exposed by Farm Transparency Project in under a year and just the latest to feature horrific acts of animal abuse. The manner in which workers treat both conscious and unconscious animals demonstrates a culture of violence and exploitation which is extremely sickening and concerning. 
I am writing to encourage you to order the immediate closure of the facility in light of this shocking new footage.  
I hope you will take this seriously and take immediate action.
