From the 2nd - 7th April, 2023 Farm Transparency Project organised a week of actions to build momentum around our campaign to ban gas chambers, which had launched at the end of March. The week involved rallies, outreach and slaughterhouse shutdown before culminating in a march through Melbourne CBD. The following week, 25 people shut down Benalla slaughterhouse in response to a complete lack of action from the government, slaughterhouses and the Australian pork industry. Read more >
