Over 2023-2024, the Farm Transparency Project team investigated 30 Australian slaughterhouses in the largest, most comprehensive investigation of animal slaughter facilities in the history of this country.
From blood soaked kill rooms to the depths of carbon dioxide gassing chambers, the team exposed widespread suffering, abuse and cruelty. Over the two years Farm Transparency Project publicly released hundreds of hours of footage and submitted dozens of formal complaints about blatant illegal activity and systemic animal abuse.
