Andgar Piggery owners Andrew and Alison Goss appear in court over alleged animal cruelty
Alleged cruelty to pigs including deaths and necrotic wounds is "probably the most serious matter the RSPCA has dealt with," a prosecutor from the organisation has told a court.
Andrew William Goss and Alison Louise Goss, of Lower Light, sat silent in the dock as RSPCA prosecutor Simon Perre said the case was the gravest he had dealt with.
"This is probably the most serious matter the RSPCA has dealt with, I think, in my time with the RSPCA," Mr Perre told the court.
Lachlan Goss, 30 of Payneham, Garry Joseph Tiss and Joan Mary Tiss, both of Concordia, did not attend in person, but were represented by counsel.
