During depopulation at the farms, chickens are callously thrown into crates that will transport them to the slaughterhouse. Many birds end up on their backs or with wings or heads caught between the crates, many die during transportation. This bird has clearly suffered from ammonia burns on their stomach after living their entire life in a faeces covered shed.
