Dead pigs and piglets at Danish pig farms. - Denmark, with a population of just under 6 million people, produces more than 32 million pigs every year.
Every day 25,000 piglets dies inside these farms, 9 million every year. Every 4th. mother pig dies of ulcer and exhaustion inside these farms. These staggering numbers are calculated casualties and a result of extensive selective breeding that creates litters with far too many babies.
