Andy Consolino

Digital Production & Research Officer

Going vegan from 18 years of age, Andy has been fully dedicated to animal rights for nine years now. He believes deeply in the necessity to help those who are being victimised and exploited, and the importance of intersectional social justice in creating a more compassionate world for everyone.

For the last seven years, Andy has been a dedicated volunteer to animal rescue and rehabilitation groups. Starting at Wildlife Victoria where he would work as a volunteer rescuer up until the covid lockdown, he spent his spare time assisting injured and helpless wildlife. Post-covid, he pivoted to organized animal rescue, volunteering with Strong Hearts Farm Sanctuary where he has personally fostered and rehomed over hundreds of animals across Victoria and NSW in the last five years.

Andy co-founded Small and All Animal Sanctuary, a rescue focused on the rescue and rehabilitation of rabbits, mice, rats, birds, and others; providing homes to more than 100 animals so far.

While maintaining his dedication for domestic animal rescue, Andy has worked with FTP since 2023. His focus has been assisting with and co-ordinating investigations, creating campaign materials, and producing video content. Andy now dedicates his professional and personal time to further the cause of animal liberation.

Andy studied a Bachelor of Music Composition and has used his skills as a musician where possible to tell the stories of animals. He has composed music for multiple Farm Transparency Project works, including the Snowtown, Cressy, and End Dairy Slaughter campaigns, as well as the upcoming 'What Happened to Olivia' documentary.
