Corowa 2023 - Forced into a gas chamber (IG)

These pigs did not go willingly to their deaths.

At Corowa slaughterhouse in New South Wales, our hidden cameras captured the final minutes of these pigs' lives as they were herded towards the carbon dioxide gas chamber.

Hearing the screams of the pigs before them, many attempted to retreat, only to be hit with the paddle or electric prod.

They were sometimes so frantic, that they would trample other pigs and attempt to jump over the metal barriers that form the sides of the race.

Every one of these pigs wanted to live and every one of these pigs was forced into the gas chamber.
