Mendes debudded shy calf dirty hutch

Mendes Calf Ranch Jan 2021 .  Disbudding (removing horns) is done early without anasthesia.  The 12,000 calves at this facility (https://www.courthousenews.com/dairy-ranch-wins-ruling-in-calf-cruelty-lawsuit/) remain in these boxes (the industry term is "hutches"  and I have even seen the facility claim they are "calf condos", which is such a blatant misdirection of what these enclosures really are) for 3 months.  The floors are not cleaned - the feces and urine fall between the slats.  There is never bedding even though temperatures average 37F in January and over 100F in the summer.
