These 32"x56" calf hutches are typical of calf ranches and dairies in California and Arizona.  No bedding, no cleaning and the calves are in these boxes for 2-3 months.   This places has several thousand calves locked in these wooden boxes at any given time.  The calves are from local dairies and beef companies that dont want to be bothered raising the babies themselves, so after they are immediately removed after birth from their mothers they are taken here.
