The site at Corowa consists not only of a slaughterhouse, but also a piggery made up of five modules, a feed milling, as well as research and administration areas.

Back in 2018, an undercover investigator documented the shocking conditions inside the adjoining Corowa Piggery ????

Body-worn hidden camera footage showed: workers resorting to brutal measures to force weakened sows to stand, piglets having their tails cut off without pain relief and the ‘runts’ of the litter having their heads smashed into the concrete floor.

They deserved better ????
