Riverland Free Range Poultry Complex

Riverlands Free Range is a free-range broiler chicken growing complex on Murraylands Road, Blanchetown SA 5357, operated by Southern Cross Poultry Fund Operations Pty Ltd (ABN 24 620 466 364), trading as AAM Poultry - Riverlands, under contract to Inghams Enterprises Pty Ltd. The complex holds RSPCA Approved certification.

Operations: The complex confines and grows meat chickens for supply to Inghams Enterprises' Adelaide kill facility. Combined with the Murray Bridge cluster, the Southern Cross Poultry Fund portfolio supplies approximately 21 million birds per year to Inghams, with Riverlands accounting for approximately 10 million birds per year.

Physical description: 7 individual farms containing 42 sheds, with each shed confining approximately 40,000 birds. Cadastral references include Sections 8, 9, 20, 21, 22, 45, 46, and 47 in Hundred H12100, Murraylands Road.
