Owned by Joe Acciarito. Previously a broiler farm contracted to Baiada. When Baiada exited Victoria, the farm transitioned into a slow-growth chicken meat farm using pullets and cockerels from egg-laying species (Hyline or Lohmann), provided by SBA.
Up to 22,000 birds per shed.
Contracted to Aurum Poultry Co, killed at 16 weeks old (compared to 5-7 for broiler chickens) at Aurum Poultry Co's slaughterhouse in Albion, Victoria. Flesh sold as "slow-grown cockerel" etc, mainly for the Asian market.
Scolexia involved as consultants.
