Turosi Foods Pty Ltd lodge application to expand Anakie breeder farm

Turosi Foods Pty Ltd want to expand a chicken-rearing farm at 35 Pringles Rd, according to documents lodged with the City of Greater Geelong.

The proposed upgrades are estimated to cost $9.6m.

The proposal includes the construction of six sheds for parent breeder rearing birds, and associated infrastructure including an office and staff amenities, a workshop and generator, sheds for chemical storage, fumigation and shavings, and a freezer for dead birds.
