$2 million goat dairy farm plans at Lethbridge to go before council

A multimillion-dollar goat farm will be built at Lethbridge if council approves new plans for the 3000 head facility.

Glenspean Partners, associated with cheesemaker Meredith Dairy, has applied to develop a dairy goat farm on 4.85ha of land at 347 Lower Plains Rd, which they said would generate more local jobs.

According to the application, Meredith Dairy employs 130 full-time/equivalent staff, and has a revenue of more than $45m per annum.
