Memorial for the goats killed at the Game Meats Company slaughterhouse

On Monday 2 February 2026, we held a peaceful vigil outside the Game Meats Company slaughterhouse. We left messages to the animals killed there, artworks of the cruelty they experience and flowers.

The Game Meats Company blocked the publication of our hidden camera footage taken at their premises in early 2024. We have been fighting to show the public the cruelty occurring behind GMC’s closed doors and high fences ever since. It deserves to be seen.

As we await the date for our High Court challenge in Canberra, we decided to hold a peaceful vigil at the slaughterhouse to honour those killed by GMC.
