Duck with wings spread after stun bath
Chickens and ducks are sent through an electrified 'stun bath' which is designed to cause unconsciousness. Some birds will lift their heads, missing the bath and remaining fully awake and aware while their throats are slit. Cameras also observed workers placing ducks on the shackle line after the stun bath, meaning that their throats were slit without stunning.
