Seven Creeks Veterinary Clinic - Four mares sent to slaughter
Seven Creeks Equine Veterinary Clinic specialises in equine horse care and artificial breeding services. On this farm, they house their pregnant and non-pregnant 'recipient herds.' Thoroughbred mares are often retired from racing to become broodmares. If they are unable to be bred, they may be sent to slaughter. In September 2026, four thoroughbred mares were taken from Seven Creeks to Peter Loffel’s property: Can Get A Witness, Lady Poppy, Solo Flight and an unknown mare.
They were killed by Peter Loffel for pet meat.
