Unloading day-old broiler chicks at Pavilion Farms (undercover)

In 2017, an employee at Pavilion Farms in Anakie, Victoria, wore a hidden camera to capture the treatment of chickens raised for meat (broiler chickens). In this video, workers unload crates of day-old baby chicks from the Turi/Turosi hatchery, before dumping the crates onto the floor of the sheds with complete disregard for the welfare of the chicks.
