Depopulation of Pavilion's broiler chickens (undercover)
In 2017, an employee at Pavilion Farms in Anakie, Victoria, wore a hidden camera to capture the treatment of chickens raised for meat (broiler chickens). In this video, workers are seen 'depopulating' the birds - shoving the 6-7 week old chickens into plastic crates, to be forklifted onto a truck and sent to the Golden Farms slaughterhouse in Geelong, owned by Turosi Foods.
