Knockbox - Cows and large pigs are herded up a narrow, barred race and into a knockbox. A heavy metal door can be slid across to open or close the knockbox, which is a barred, narrow box where animals are held to be stunned. A rifle is used to shoot cows and large pigs in the head to render them unconscious. They are then tipped into the kill room where their throats are slit. Hidden cameras showed that many animals had to be shot multiple times. They can be heard crying out in pain and seen tossing their heads, jumping up and trying to turn around and run away. - Captured at Gretna Meatworks, Gretna TAS Australia.
